It converts your lens to a true macro by increasing its effective maximum reproduction ratio. Simply choose the version that matches the size of the filter threads on the prime or zoom lens you want to attach it to. This version also includes a 40.5mm to 58mm, and 49mm to 58mm step-up rings.
