Use old plastic cans to make woolen rope anti-roll and anti-tangle organizers

When knitting sweaters, have you ever encountered a ball of yarn rolling around on the floor and getting tangled, or a naughty baby or pet causing trouble and ruining the materials? This simple handmade work of renovating old items can help you better ensure that the wool is not messed up when knitting. Now you only need to concentrate on the knitting work in your hands and no longer be afraid. The problem of tangled yarns is discovered from time to time.

Transform plastic jars into anti-rolling and anti-tangle organizers for woolen ropes

These materials are needed in the DIY process: wide-mouth plastic cans or scrap metal cans, electric drills, plastic beads, hot melt glue or white latex, printer, wool, scissors, and hand spray paint.

Here’s how to repurpose a plastic can to make a yarn ball organizer:

1. Use hand spray paint to paint the jar and its lid into the color you like.

2.Use an electric drill to drill holes in the middle of the lid and use hot glue to stick a hollow bead to the back of the lid. The purpose of the beads is to avoid the side effect of the yarn being cut directly when it is scratched through the stubble of the hole drilled in the cover.

3. Pass one end of wool or hemp rope through the cover.

4. The paper title printed on the computer is placed on the can body for distinction and identification.

A simple, eye-catching and practical DIY yarn storage jar is ready.
